Admin Assistant

Salary: £17,000  per Annum

Job brief

Perky Pear is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

What does an Administrative Assistant do?

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Tracking our stockists’ orders and booking in stock with our stockists warehouse booking teams. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you also have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.


  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Assist our Production manager with bookings and stockist accounts
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers


  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Junior Designer

Circa 18k per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Perky Pear is a revolutionary breast lift tape company providing non-surgical breast lift solutions in the form of our patented sweat proof cotton tape.

Our company was established in 2016 and we now distribute our unique tape products worldwide. Our stockist portfolio includes global fashion retailers such as Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo & Missguided, In The Style and smaller boutiques in the UK and worldwide. We have recently launched in to select stores in the USA and Australia. Perky Pear now operates across 2 factories in both the UK and USA with our fulfilment centres being based in Manchester and Pennsylvania.

Following recent investment and exponential growth, we are excited to offer an ambitious junior designer the opportunity to join our business and carve out a career as we expand internationally. The purpose of this role is to create engaging designs according to requirements and we see this being a crucial hire. You will be a part of an innovative retail brand making waves in the fashion industry.  Perky Pear is renowned for its breakthrough product and design and the successful candidate will play an important part in contributing to our social media channels, website, online and print advertising materials.

In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote our brand and products and help convert sales.


Junior Designer Responsibilities

Reporting into the senior designer you will be expected to:

  • -Participate in various design projects from concept to completion
  • -Produce high-quality imagery and content such as gif’s, jpegs and videos for our website, print, youtube and social media channels
  • -Listening to feedback to hone and improve design skills
  • -Show initiative and creativity by sharing new ideas and ways to improve the brand image.
  • -Understand project requirements and concepts
  • -Use various techniques and software to create digital and print advertising materials
  • -Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners, social media content, leaflets, banner stands, various promotional material)
  • -Pitch creative ideas that aim to promote our products and brand message to help drive website sales.
  • -Collaborate with team members to launch projects
  • -Take on special design tasks (e.g. colour correction)
  • -Use feedback from other designers to improve


  • -Experience with graphics and video editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, iMovie)
  • -Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
  • -Teamwork & social skills
  • -A keen eye for detail
  • -Time management and multitasking abilities
  • -Creativity skills and problem-solving attitude
  • -A degree in design or a related field (2.2 or above)
  • -Preferably 1 or 2 years of experience as a Junior Designer in industry

Casual Fulfilment Team Member- ON HOLD

Salary: £10.00 per hour.

Contract: Casual/ Variable/Non-permanent

Time: Varies generally between 10-4 Monday to Friday, hours and days negotiable.

We are Perky Pear, an international non-surgical breast lift manufacturer and brand. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, happy and have a can-do attitude to join our growing packing team.

The ideal candidate will work well within a team and on their own initiative. As a casual member of the team, you will be helping out with packing our products and fulfilling stockists orders to a high quality.

No experience is required, as we offer full training. You must demonstrate a conscientious, flexible approach, plus the ability to work on your own. There are no set hours but shifts will be planned and given weeks in advance. We would like someone flexible enough that we could call upon last minute if needed if other members are sick. As we grow this could turn into a full-time role.
